1. Agreement
These Membership Terms supplement the Terms of Use & Sale. By checking the membership consent box and completing enrollment, you expressly agree to recurring monthly charges and authorize Essentrx and its payment providers to charge your selected payment method as described below. If these Membership Terms conflict with the general Terms, these Membership Terms control for the membership.
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. Membership is currently offered only where shown at checkout and may be unavailable in some markets.
2. Price and Billing Frequency
- Introductory month: $8.99 plus applicable tax for an eligible new membership.
- Ongoing renewal: After the first month, $17.99 plus applicable tax every month until canceled.
- Billing date: Renewals generally occur on the monthly anniversary of enrollment, subject to calendar and payment-processing adjustments shown in your account or renewal notice.
The $8.99 introductory price is a paid first month, not a free trial. It is limited to eligible new members and may not be combined with another introductory offer unless stated. You authorize recurring charges without further action each month until cancellation, except where additional consent is required by law.
3. What Is Included
Each paid membership month includes one eligible 10ml fragrance selection and standard shipping for that membership box to an eligible U.S. address. Express shipping is not included. One-time or full-size purchases are separate and may carry their own price and shipping charge, including the currently displayed $14.99 express option.
Any member discount on separate full-size purchases is shown before checkout and may be changed prospectively with appropriate notice. Benefits have no cash value, are personal to the member, and may not be resold or transferred.
4. Scent Selection and Fulfillment
Select an available scent by the deadline shown in your account. If you do not make a timely selection, we may use your saved selection, scent profile, prior preferences, or another available scent. Availability is not guaranteed. Processing and delivery estimates are governed by the Shipping Policy.
The Returns & Exchanges Policy applies to membership shipments. An exchange request does not cancel the membership or stop future renewals.
5. How to Cancel
You may cancel at any time without a cancellation fee by signing in and using Account > Cancel Membership. If you cannot access your account, email support@essentrx.com from the address associated with the membership and request cancellation.
Cancel before the next billing date to avoid the next charge. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless applicable law requires otherwise. You retain paid benefits through that date. Deleting the app, abandoning the account, declining a shipment, exchanging a scent, or removing a payment method does not by itself cancel.
6. Refunds
Membership fees already charged are generally nonrefundable and are not prorated for a partially used month. This does not limit any refund, cancellation, or remedy required by law, or a remedy we expressly approve for a billing error, unauthorized charge, failure to deliver, damaged item, or other covered issue. Contact us promptly if you believe a charge is incorrect.
7. Payment Failure
Keep your payment and contact information current. If a charge fails, we or our payment provider may retry it as permitted by law and provider rules. We may pause fulfillment or benefits while payment remains overdue and may cancel the membership after reasonable notice. You remain responsible only for valid charges and any taxes that lawfully apply.
8. Renewal and Change Notices
We will provide confirmations, renewal notices, price-change notices, and other reminders when and in the manner required by applicable law. A reminder is a convenience unless law makes it a condition of renewal; you remain responsible for the renewal date displayed in your account or payment-provider records.
We may change the ongoing price or material benefits prospectively. We will give advance notice required by law and obtain new consent when required. A price change will not take effect for you before the date stated in the notice. You may cancel before it takes effect.
9. Suspension or End of Program
We may suspend or end a membership for fraud, abuse, legal requirements, or a material violation of the Terms, using a fair process where required. We may modify or discontinue the program prospectively with required notice. If we end a paid membership without cause before the end of its period, we will provide any refund or substitute benefit required by law.
